An evacuation goes the way you prepared it. The basics are simple, yet surprisingly often overlooked.

Nobody wants to think about an evacuation during a successful event. Yet that is exactly where preparation pays off. If something happens, every second counts — and then the basics have to be right.
The basics that must always be right
- Emergency exits that are clear, visible and unlocked;
- Enough capacity for the number of people present;
- Lit escape routes and clear signage;
- Staff who know where to direct people.
Guiding people, not panic
During an evacuation a crowd follows whoever radiates calm. Our guards are trained to direct people clearly and calmly, prevent bottlenecks and spot stragglers. Calm prevents the crushing that is the real danger.
Thinking it through pays off
We walk through your venue and programme in advance, determine capacity and routes and rehearse the scenario with your team. So an evacuation isn't improvisation, but a plan.
